Sabato scorso a New York si è tenuta la cerimonia di premiazione dei Designer Toy Awards 2012. I ragazzi di Clutter hanno chiamato per questo evento un presentatore davvero d’eccezione: Mr Sucklord!

Ma ora veniamo ai vincitori!

Alcuni vincitori erano in effetti prevedibili, altri francamente mi hanno lasciato un po’ perplesso… Voi che ne pensate?

Direttamente dal SDCC arrivano le nomination dei finalisti del Designer Toy Award 2012, evento organizzato dai ragazzi di Clutter.

La sezione Community Choice Award è aperta al pubblico, quindi chiunque, previa registrazione al sito, può votare. Le categorie di questa sezione sono: Artist of the Year, Best Blog, Best Sofubi, Fan Favourite, Best Online Toy Store,  Best Collection, Best Toy from a Comic e Best DIY Platform.

La sezione Board Voted Awards è ristretta ad un gruppo selezionato di “addetti ai lavori” che sono stati parte integrante nello sviluppo dell’industria del Designer Toy. Le categorie sono: Toy of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Breakthrough Artist, Outstanding Production, Best Customizer, Best Mini Series, Best Self-Produced, Best Collaboration, Best Licensed Product, Best Plush Design, Best 1/6 Scale Toy e Lifetime Achievement.

L’ultimo giorno utile per votare sarà il 1° settembre, mentre la premiazione avrà luogo il 13 ottobre a New York durante il NYCC e il cerimoniere sarà nientemeno che Sucklord!
